This is a very smooth finish compared to the seat where i want a coarse surface to represent a leathery material while the tank is supposed to have a metallic look.
I cut out two runs of space out of my tank to mount onto my frame and I’m thinking using glue to mount it onto my frame
My tank was made the same way as my seat and when i had it sanded to as smooth a surface as possible i use extra fine poly filler to achieve an even smoother surface. i put two coats on until i achieved the surface i wanted, now its ready for primer and paint
I used three different gradients of sand paper to shape the seat to my specifications
this is the material I used to make my tank and seat out of and got it in blocks
